The World Golf Village (WGV) Fighting Turtles Swim Team offers recreational, competitive swimming for ages 5 to 18 years of age. Swimmers will learn and improve in the four strokes of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly at practices. At home and away swim meets (Saturdays) swimmers will participate in individual stroke heats, individual medley (all four strokes in one event), medley relay, and freestyle relay as scheduled by the coach. Swimmers are grouped by age for meets; 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18. Besides offering swimmers the opportunity to develop their skills in competition, the WGV Fighting Turtles provides a great way for kids to make friends, build self-confidence, improve swimming proficiency, and most importantly, have fun.

The team is part of the St. Johns Summer Swim League and hosts swim practices and meets at the MuraBella amenities center pool. Families and swimmers from all of the WGV area communities are welcome to join. So, sign up today and see you at the pool!
